Viet Nam veteran. Born in Miami. Lived in Cleveland, OH for 55 years. Graduate of Ohio State University. Broker for merchant services for 28 plus years. Christian.

Melisa Martin, serves on the Board of Directors and is the Compliance Officer of Roche Surety and Casualty Company, Inc.  Melisa has been in the bail bond and surety bond profession for over 30 years and is a graduate of the University of Tampa where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995.

She is licensed with the Florida Department of Financial Services (FLDFS) as a Managing General Agent and a Limited Surety Agent.  Ms. Martin is a member of the Professional Bail Agents of the United States (PBUS) and the Florida Bail Agents Association (FBAA), the University of Tampa’s Alumni Association.

Melisa is a former member of the Board of Directors for the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Immediate Past President of the Macfarlane Park Neighborhood Association and an Adjunct Instructor at Hillsborough Community College.  

BAYS operates Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare Programs throughout the State of Florida. Our programs are child and family centered with a focus on at-risk behaviors and include evidence and research based interventions.  Since 2014, BAYS has participated in The Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces Survey and has been named a Top 100 Workplace numerous times, and most recently being honored as a 2023 Top Workplace in the USA.  This is an especially meaningful designation because the honor is 100% based upon employee feed back.  Our Mission: BAYS works in partnership with individuals, families, and communities to inspire change, growth and success.  Our Vision: BAYS envisions communities that believe in the value and worth of all people and their ability to change, grow, and succeed.
 

Mr. Alberto (Danny) Camacho is the Academic Assistant Dean for Mathematics and Science on the Dale Mabry Campus of Hillsborough Community College.  He brings over 20 years of secondary teaching and administrative experience in education to the HCC family.  Mr. Camacho has an extensive background in dealing with students and families from under-represented groups and from disadvantaged circumstances, and is proud of his work in the Tampa community.  He is a former Guardian Ad Litem, and works extensively with education foundations.  When not working, he can often be found at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park playing tennis and walking his beloved dog, Hemi.
